Parkville Scouts August 18 build session cancelled.

August meeting minutes read. Sarah Jackson noted a correction needed to the August meeting minutes. The official minutes have the checking account listed as having 38.62 in it. It should actually be 438.62. MOTION to accept the minutes as read and corrected, by Ed Jackson, Jim Miers; Motion passed, none opposed.

Old Business:

NARHAMS Editor- There was discussion of what to do about the NARHAMS newsletter since no one has volunteered to be editor. The editor position is not required by the club’s bylaws, nor does the club need to have a newsletter. Suggestions of possible solutions is to have a blog on the website, which can be collated and sent out every two months in place of a newsletter. Another possible solution is to have the newsletter be a group effort with guest or rotating editors. For the moment, Sarah Jackson is to contact Christopher Kidwell to ask about the possibility of setting up a blog on the current website. The rest of the discussion is tabled until then.

High Power Rockets and Accessories- The donated high power rocketry items are to be given to NOVAAR, unless a club member wishes to purchase the items through a donation to NAR.
NARAM Canon Auction- John McCoy’s rockets that were donated to the Canon Auction brought in $205.
