Attended by the Finerans, Ed Pearson, Bill Boublitz, Bruce Mitchell Steve Lloyd posted an article in the Frederick Post mentioning NARHAMS. Mark Wise attended a presentation by Gene Kranz. Alex Mankevich, Alan Williams, and Bill Boublitz attended the Antares launch at Wallops. Ed Pearson wanted it noted in the minutes that the last time Washington won the World Series, there was still a year and a half to go before Dr. Goddard launched the first liquid fueled rocket. October meeting minutes read. Some discussion on how the club makes money. MOTION to accept the minutes as read by Alan Williams, Mark Wise; Motion passed, none opposed. Reviewed upcoming calendar. Old Business: Krimgold Park- Notified us that tents, a PA system, and driving in the grass are not permitted on their fields. Holiday party- Alex Mankevich to send out potluck list. The raffle supply is good. Alex Mankevich to contact Kevin Johnson to contact Scott Branche about raffle prizes. Treasurer's report: Cash: 319.00 Checking: 570.00 Savings: 2645.12 Total: 3534.12 In: 93.68 Out: 114.00 MOTION by Jim Miers, Jim Baird, to accept treasurer's report. None opposed, motion passed. New Business: Yahoo Groups- December 14th content disappears from Yahoo Groups unless we migrate to a new service. MOTION, Mark Wise, Jim Miers, that the club purchases a one year subscription to be reviewed during the next year, not to exceed $300. None opposed, motion passed. Estes Igniters at Goddard- The 50 or so A83 motors donated previously came with the old Estes style igniters. Discussion of whether we should sell or trade igniters with club members. Decision made to not use these igniters for the regular Goddard launches. Holiday Party- Ed Jackson will bring his VR system to the holiday party for members to try out. Skype/ Webex- Webex was a good experience during the November meeting. Discussion of how to deal with quorum and voting when using remote access. MOTION, Jim Miers, Ed Pearson, to take a three month trial of Webex, starting in January, to take the club online at $15 a month, ending in March 2020. None opposed, motion passed. Business Cards- Ed Jackson to get in contact with Kevin Johnson to get template of business cards and report back with price for reprints in January.
