March meeting minutes read. MOTION to accept the minutes as read by Jim Filler, Jef Fineran. Motion passed with none opposed. Reviewed upcoming calendar. Old Business: Johanna Bagg- She is making improvements and is in therapy every day. Apollo Contest 2019- Date has been moved to Saturday, July 20th. MOTION, by Jim Filler, Jennifer Ash, to purchase 200 Aluminum water bottles and lanyards, plus enough t-shirts for volunteers for a total cost to not exceed $1,500. Motion passed, none opposed. Goddard Launch protocols- Jim Miers came up with a list of rules for discussion. Rockville Science Day- Alex will need to drop off supplies for the build session. Jacksons will take the supplies. Participation Incentives- tabled until next meeting. ECRM- Will happen same as always. There will be a picnic and trophies for division winners, not for individual evants. A & B are free to enter, C & D will be $5. Open spot landing is free. Treasurer's report: Cash: 294.00 Checking: 1052.84 Savings: 3042.75 Total: 4389.59 In: 74.00 Out: 0.00 MOTION by Sarah Jackson, Mark Wise, to accept treasurer's report. None opposed, motion passed. New Business: John McCoy- Memorial Service is Saturday, April 27th. ZOG-43- Will be delayed due to death in Don Carson's family. NAR Insurance Certificates- The insurance certificates are in and have been forwarded to Frederick County Parks and NASA Goddard Visitor Center. Westchester Elementary- Tom Bagg will be at Westchester Elementary on May 10th to launch students rockets. Alex to bring PA system. Holiday Party 2019- The Greenbelt Community Church may not be available for the 2019 December Holiday potluck. Discussion as to where to hold party and when. Jim Miers to give more details as things progress. Storage Unit fee- Has increased by $5 a month. Cineroc clone- Jim Filler is selling a Cineroc clone. HobbyWorks- Has an open space to use for meetings or build sessions. Igniter Mix- Jim Filler has tried out a new igniter mix. July Sport launch- MOTION, Jim Filler, Jennifer Ash, to have Jim Filler contact Frederick County Parks to request change of date for the July Sport launch to move it up to July 13th.
