New Business

Capitol College has requested we do a demo launch on March 23, 11 am - 1 pm, for the STEM program. Ed Pearson will coordinate.

Mark Wise has gotten approval for additional launches at the Ag Center on June 23, September 22, and November 24, 10 am - 4 pm, open to the public at noon.

Motion to purchase box of motors from Roy Lapallainen for $160. Suitable motors will be donated to Goddard, with the remaining motors sold to club members. Motion (Alex Mankevich/Frank Panek) passed.

Maria Ha is coordinating this year's kit bash contest. She has contacted Carl at Semroc, and they have come up with a combination of kits and parts for $20, available at the April meeting. Bonus points will be awarded for staged models. Additional rules to be announced in April. Models must be flown at a club launch, and presented for judging at the Decmber holiday party.

Scout group is planning to launch at Carderock in April or May and looking for our support.

Tom Ha reviewed the national event schedule this year:

Jul 28 - Aug 3 - NARAM in Muskegon, MI

Rules Revision comment period is coming soon. This year, the postings will be available online in a public forum, where members can make comments. Each member may only comment once (100 word maximum) on each proposal. Following the comment period, voting will also be done online.

Alex Mankevich suggested holding some type of fundraising event such as a building session/launch or a special contest. Various discussions on holding it at the Carroll County Ag Center, Goddard, etc.
