Old Business
Goddard contest is July 15. Need help setting up on July 14. KofC having a building session at
Greenbelt Arts Center July 5 and/or 6. Ed will be contest Director. KofC will handle all the timing.
Registration opens at noon. Launch is 1 - 3 pm
Goddard launch June 3 with 1 girl scout and 2 cub scout troops coming.
Launch managers: Jim Miers will do June, Don Brown July, Jim Filler September. Still need one for August
Roy - should we put our logo up on Cafe Press so that people can order stuff whenever they want? Problem is that anyone can then order. But not likely that other people would be getting our gear, and it would be free advertising for us anyway. Motion to put our logo on Cafe Press (Kevin Johnson/Alan Williams) passed. Roy will work out the details
Jim has closed out the storage unit and repacked in his own personal storage unit. Options: open a new storage unit in Frederick, for 62/month, or sublet space out of his unit for 43/month. Motion to share Jim's space for $43/month for 1 year (Roy/John) passed
Brad - cub scout building session June 19 in Bel Air, launch June 22.

In May, we collected $154.17 and spent $238.29
Income was from donations (96.17), ECRM (49) and raffle (9).
Expenses were for field repairs (91.09), ZOG-43 (41.16), cadet program (52), section renewal (40),
postage for constitution amendment (14.04).

New Business
UFO building session was supposed to be next month, but Tom won't be here.
August is supposed to be night launch building session. Change to be night UFO building.
Jim has a miniature EZup canopy to donate to the club range equipment to cover the launch equipment.
John suggests that we put a donation bucket at the Mt Airy launches, with a suggested donation of $2 per adult flyer, family, or group. Kids will always be able to fly for free. Motion to move forward with the donation bucket, and Jim confirm with the parks to make sure it is ok (Roy/Chris Ha) passed. John will do the sign and bucket.
Additional suggestion to add an item to the membership application for equipment storage/use fee. Motion to add to membership application a line for club equipment storage, with the amount to be determined at the November meeting, for 2008 renewals (John/Alan) 5 for, 6 against. motion fails to pass
Motion to add a note to web site membership section and membership form to specify that you need to be an NAR member and attend meetings to be a voting member (John/Roy). 9 for, 2 against. passes
