Outreach
May 7 - Rockville Science Consortium, building session and launch. 20 kids built, launched 16
May 14 - Tom Ha launch with cubs scouts from prior building session. 30 scouts, 65 flights
May 19 - Tom Bagg launch at West Chester Elementary School
May 20 - TARC
Jun 2 - Kevin and Jennifer did Middle School Expo talks at APL (2 sessions, 30 kids each)
Jun 3 - Tom Bagg launch with Girl Scout Community Encampment. 9 building sessions throughout the day
Old Business
Scott - still working on making our own kits for building sessions. Working with Quest for nose cones. Thomas has a prototype already built and tested.
Treasurer's Report
In May, the club collected $570 and didn't spent anything. Income consisted of ZOG-43 (25), dues (45), and Fannie Mae donation (500).

New Business
Goddard Visitor Center budget has been cut by 30%. Jul-Aug closed on Sunday. This means no Goddard launches Jul and Aug. Jennifer will meet with DJ next week to discuss changes. She will ask to move Jul/Aug launches to first Saturday. Too late notice to hold Goddard Contest this year. At planning meeting, we need to brainstorm for more publicity.
Motion to cancel Goddard Contest this year and send letter to past participants (John McCoy/Thomas Henderson) passed.
ECRM-33 is Jun 17-18. Jim will reserve pavilion. Trophies have been ordered
Jim has been unable to get a "warmup" launch for the new field because we won't have insurance. Waivers have been applied for. Reminder to bring dolly trucks to haul equipment as vehicles are not allowed on the field this year. Reminder if ECRM-34 is to be held there next year, we need to lay out a baseline.
